For Free Roam & Room Scale VR
We have games and experiences to accommodate any age group, though we do recommend guests be 7 years old and above for Free Roam & Room Scale VR
For VR Treadmills
Though any age is fine if they meet the height and weight recommendations
Min. Height 5ft 2in (153cm)
Max. Height 6ft 6in (202cm)
Max Weight 120kgs
we do suggest 12+ years old for VR Treadmill use
I wear glasses - can I play too?
What ages can Novacade VR accommodate?
I wear glasses - can I play too?
Yes, though contact lenses are much preferred for your comfort and best results.
Glasses that are loose fitting or over 13cm wide and 4cm in height cannot be used.
Please check if your glasses fit within a Quest 2 headset either with us or friend prior to your session if youre unsure because if your they don't fit inside the headset you unfortunately won't be able to play.
Should I bring anything?

You may want to bring your water bottle in case you get thirsty while you're playing.
A change of shirt and/or gym towel can be a good idea too if you want to be real fresh afterwards,

Novacade VR can host groups up to:
8 Players at once in Free-Roam VR on games that allow this many players.
4 PLAYERS for VR Station & Treadmill sessions, including the VR Escape Rooms available within each VR Session type.

Some people experience nausea while playing VR - if you are concerned about this come in for a 5 minute test before booking.
A Free Roam session is best if you are worried you may be effected by nausea.
Refunds cannot be given if you encounter nausea and are unable to play.
Intoxicated players may be refused service and refunds are not

Physical ability may restrict some players though we also have seated games within our Room Scale Sessions & the motion controllers are a comfortably wide grip for many.
You cannot play the adventure if you have epilepsy..
If you have a history of photosensitive seizures, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress or heart conditions, you should consult a doctor before playing Virtual Reality.
As some of our adventures are seated, they can be enjoyed by pregnant women, elderly people and others with restriction mobility, although they should exercise caution.
The VR omni-treadmills do allow PLAYERS to run at fast speeds and should be used with caution according to one's fitness levels.
The thumbstick should be substituted for movement whenever necessary.

Please read the short 'Attention' notice in the bookings panel. You'll provide the the giftees email after confirmation and they will be sent an email displaying the gift voucher.

By agreeing to our terms and conditions during the booking process you are confirming that you and all players:
are aware of all the dangers (e.g. potential motion sickness) and restrictions to play (e.g. Intoxication) etc, as per the below waiver

NOVACADE VR LIABILITY WAIVER AND RELEASE FORM
ASSUMPTION OF RISK
I acknowledge that participating in Virtual Reality (VR) experiences at Novacade VR involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:
- Motion sickness, dizziness, or nausea
- Disorientation and loss of balance
- Collisions with objects or other participants
- Trips, falls, or equipment-related injuries
- Possible seizures or other health-related issues
I voluntarily assume all risks associated with using VR equipment and participating in VR experiences at Novacade VR.
HEALTH & SAFETY
I confirm that I:
- Do not have any medical conditions (such as epilepsy, heart conditions, or severe motion sickness) that may be aggravated by VR experiences.
- Am not under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or any substance that may impair my ability to participate safely.
I agree to follow all instructions provided by Novacade VR staff and to immediately stop if I feel unwell.
LIABILITY WAIVER & RELEASE
I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, and assigns, hereby waive, release, and discharge Novacade VR, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, injuries, or losses arising from my participation in VR activities, including those caused by negligence.
I understand that Novacade VR is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.
BEHAVIOR & DAMAGE POLICY
I agree to use all equipment responsibly. I understand that I may be financially responsible for any damage caused by reckless or intentional misuse of VR equipment.
